Meet The Team

Meet our fearless leader and lover of all things green! Savannah started Plant Savvy in 2020 as a houseplant blog and has since grown it into a full service interiorscaping company.

Influenced by her green-thumbed Grandma, Savannah learned that she too shares a love for plants and has grown to love styling houseplants, and developing a thorough education of horticulture.

Savannah has obtained a Horticulture Certificate through NC State's Horticultural Science program and continues her education through industry-recognized workshops and classes.

Her fav plant right now is the Dracaena Marginata!

Kelly is our lead maintenance technician and has been with Plant Savvy since 2023. She's an AmericanHort certified Greenhouse Technician and is pursuing an industry-recognized plantscape technician certification (CPT-I).

Her love for plants began with her own house plant collection, which she started through propagations. That love has only grown as she's worked for Plant Savvy and pursued her horticultural education.

Kelly diligently cares for our clients' plants, helps design lush interiorscapes, and shares her knowledge of design and horticulture through our blog.

Her favorite plants right now are orchids because of how whimsical the cultivars can be!

Ashleigh’s love for plants has always been a big part of her life. Her home is filled with plants to create a space that feels alive, vibrant, and full of connection to nature. Whether she’s repotting, propagating, or pruning, she doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty.

She is constantly growing her knowledge of the plant world and enjoys discovering how to help every plant thrive.

Her favorite plant is the Monstera deliciosa!

Growing up in western Kentucky, Lauren was surrounded by gardens, agriculture, and horticulture from a young age. She graduated from Lipscomb with a degree in biology and animation in 2025.

Blending her scientific background with her practical gardening knowledge, she loves creating living and creative spaces. When she isn’t planting or pruning, she can be found with a paintbrush in her hand.

Lauren’s favorite plant is the daffodil (narcissus).

As a third generation gardener and houseplant enthusiast, Kendall inherited her love for all things plants from her mom and grandmother. Expanding upon the lessons she learned from her foremothers, she loves continually growing her knowledge through her own collection of plants and books on their care.

She graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Media Production in 2023. Outside of tending to plants around town, Kendall can be found designing props and sets for photo and music video shoots. (And at every opportunity, incorporating greenery into that too!)

Her favorite plant as of late is the Norfolk Island Pine!
