What the city is built out of

Retail and mixed-use, mostly single-story. Mount Juliet's 2022 retail sales totalled $1.14 billion, or $26,862 per resident. Providence Commons on South Mount Juliet Road is a Phillips Edison center anchored by Publix. Wilson County employment ran 63,900 in Q1 2025 at an average weekly wage of $1,148.

What is opening

Citi Station at North Mount Juliet Road and East Division — a 10,500 square foot building housing Starbucks, Timberloft Spud & Butter and Club Pilates. Golden Bear Wine and Spirits, planned at 10,000 to 12,000 square feet on Golden Bear Gateway. Andy's Frozen Custard on North Mount Juliet Road.

Where we stand

Mount Juliet is in our service area. We have not yet completed a project here — our completed work over the last two years is Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs, Spring Hill and Nolensville.

An office behind a retail frontage is a specific light problem

Professional space in Mount Juliet is very often a suite in a center — an insurance office, a dental practice, a title company, a medical suite — with glazing along one frontage and nothing else. The front eighteen or twenty feet reads as a genuinely bright room. Everything behind it is on artificial light only.

That is not a hard problem. It is just a problem you have to acknowledge before you buy plants, because the specimen that thrives at the window will decline steadily thirty feet back and everyone will conclude that plants do not work in the space. Two plant lists, one suite. We measure at the placement.

There is no historic stock here to work around

Unlike Franklin or downtown Nashville, Mount Juliet has no commercial historic district and no downtown design-review overlay to negotiate. Its buildings are new, its ceilings are predictable, its access is at grade and there is a parking space outside your door. From a service standpoint this is the easiest market on our list to run a route in.

What a route day looks like here

Same day each cycle, same technician. Fifteen documented steps at each stop: relocation and vent scan, prune and restake, pest inspection under leaves and in the soil, soil moisture probed before anything is watered, soil top-off, leaves and pots cleaned, propagation vessels scrubbed clear of algae, top dressing fluffed, vines trained, plant rotated so its best side faces the room, water spots wiped, fallen soil cleaned, then a walkthrough photographing every plant area with notes and any replacement orders logged.

Starting

Our weekly route starts at $350 a month and projects start at $3,000. Consultations run $250 in person and $125 by video, and installs land four to six weeks out. Plants we installed carry the replacement guarantee under a maintenance program; terms and conditions apply.

Frequently asked questions

Do you actually come out this far?

Yes. Mount Juliet is inside our service area and on the route.

Have you done work in Mount Juliet?

Not yet. We have finished projects in Brentwood, Franklin, Cool Springs, Spring Hill and Nolensville.

Our suite has windows on one side only. Will anything live at the back?

Yes, with the right list and honest placement. We measure the light at the spot rather than for the room.

Weekly or biweekly — how do we choose?

Density and traffic, mostly. We will recommend one at the walkthrough and we are not going to push weekly on a suite that does not need it.

Do you provide insurance certificates?

Yes, on all six lines we carry.
