Nashville / Commercial Plant Services
Everything we do for a commercial space, and what each one involves
The full list of what Plant Savvy does for Nashville businesses — with what is included, what is not, and what each one costs to start.

How we run
Weekly and biweekly routes only. Fifteen documented steps on every interior visit, thirteen on every exterior one. Photographs of every plant area and technician notes uploaded after each visit.
What it costs to start
Consultation $250 on site or $125 virtual. Project minimum $3,000. Weekly maintenance from $350. Four to six weeks from consultation to install on a small or medium project; larger work depends on scale.
Who we are
A team of eight and growing, working from our headquarters, warehouse, greenhouse and office in Madison, just north of Nashville. The service business started in 2021. Kelly Fletcher holds the CPT-I certification; a second technician is working toward NC State certification; Savannah Toal holds an NC State horticulture certificate.
Design and installation
Walkthrough, light readings at each intended placement, a written specification, then installation. You buy the plants outright — we can quote a lease structure if procurement requires one, but it is not what we typically offer and it usually costs more over any realistic horizon. Install-only is a genuine option; The Factory at Franklin is over four hundred plants, design and installation, with no maintenance contract.
Ongoing maintenance
Weekly or biweekly, same day, same technician. Every visit runs the documented fifteen-step interior process: relocation and vent scan, pruning and restaking, pest inspection under leaves and in the soil, soil moisture probed before watering, soil top-off, leaves and pots cleaned, propagation vessels scrubbed clear of algae, top dressing fluffed, vines trained, plants rotated so the best side faces the room, water spots wiped, fallen soil cleaned, then a photographic walkthrough of every plant area with notes, replacement orders and supply orders logged.
Pest monitoring and treatment are part of the maintenance program. We do not sell pest control as a standalone service.
The replacement guarantee
Under a maintenance program, plants Plant Savvy installed that fall below Plant Savvy standards are replaced. Where the decline is due to overwatering, pests or anything else within our control, the replacement is at no cost. Terms and conditions apply. The guarantee follows plants we installed; we are glad to maintain plants you already own, and we will assess and treat them honestly, but they are not covered.
Exterior containers and seasonal work
Containers, entry planters, patio and pool areas, in-ground beds. The exterior program is thirteen documented steps: everything in the interior process plus weed removal, deadheading, seasonal cutbacks, irrigation line checks and hose and spigot discipline. Hard prunes happen in winter; Russian sage and catmint are cut back by a third mid-summer. Exterior trash cleanup is explicitly not part of the service.
Seasonal rotation typically runs four changes a year.
Holiday and seasonal décor
Interior and exterior holiday installations, and off-season storage of your holiday materials for a small fee — which for a tenant with no back-of-house is worth more than it sounds.
Preserved moss walls
Real moss, preserved, mounted on panels. No light, no irrigation, no drainage, no watering, because it is not growing. Ideal for interior conference rooms, reception walls, elevator lobbies and treated studio rooms. Not for exteriors, wet rooms, or anywhere it will be touched constantly.
We have not yet built a true living green wall, and we will not claim one. We are looking for the right project.
Biophilic design
Not a separate product line. It is the design movement our work sits inside — connecting people to nature in the built environment — and it describes how we specify rather than a thing you buy on its own.
Residential
Interior and exterior design for homes, most often beginning indoors and extending outdoors within the first year. Non-maintenance clients receive a care walkthrough, a complimentary two-week check-up and a written plant care guide covering each plant individually as well as general care.
What we do not do
We do not run plant rental programs. Renting ends up costing considerably more over time and it is not where our strengths lie. We do not sell standalone pest control. We do not do exterior trash cleanup. We have not built a living green wall. And we do not run monthly maintenance routes — we tried, and plants were not being cared for between visits.

Project minimum $3,000; weekly maintenance from $350.
Do we have to sign a maintenance contract?
No. Install-only is a real option and we have done it on our largest project.
Do you rent plants?
No. It costs the client considerably more over time and it is not what we are good at.
Are you insured?
Six lines: general liability, a BOP, commercial auto, workers' comp, business property and contents, and an umbrella policy. Certificates go out on request.
How long from first call to plants in the room?
Four to six weeks on a small or medium job. Larger phased work depends on scale.
